Kevin Opp has over thirty years of experience in all aspects of two- and three- dimensional marketing and visual communication design. His experience ranges from print and digital communications and identity systems to retail sales programs and displays, packaging, trade shows, exhibits, wayfinding and signage design programs.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. As an undergraduate student, Kevin had the opportunity to participate in the Professional Practice program at UC and held co-op positions at IBM Corporation, Henry Dreyfuss Associates (industrial designers) and the American Stock Exchange. Mr. Opp received his Master of Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Mr. Opp began his design career in the IBM Endicott Design Center, and has held design and marketing management positions at environmental design, marketing communications, and architectural / engineering firms. In addition to these positions, Kevin has served as adjunct instructor of graphic design in the Visual Arts and New Media Department at the State University of New York – College at Fredonia, Department of Art at SUNY College at Buffalo and Art Department at Daemen College.

During his career, he has consulted or provided design assistance to the Atlantic Coast Conference, Cleveland Cavaliers, SUNY College at Buffalo, SUNY Buffalo Management and Law Schools, Medaille College, Ave Maria University, Kinetic Laboratories, Fisher-Price, Datesweiser, Corning, Spinneybeck, Real Estate Leadership, Select Sotheby’s International Realty, Saint Gobain and other private, commercial and educational institutions.

Kevin’s work has been recognized by the New York Art Director’s Club, Association of Graphic Arts, Advertising Club of Buffalo, Public Relations Society of America, and the Type Director’s Club. In 2011, he was selected as a packaging design semi-finalist in the Adobe Achievement Awards. Working with author/photographer Subhi Alghussain, Petra – A Panoramic Journey was named by Kirkus Reviews as one of the Top 100 Indie Books of 2012. His work has been published in Print Magazine, American Corporate Identity 13, American Corporate Identity 25, and TDC55 Annual.

Mr. Opp served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Ten Thousand Villages/ WNY, a not-for-profit retail store located in Buffalo, NY from 2016-2019. He currently holds Board positions with the Buffalo Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Buffalo-area Awareness for Engineering Opportunities for Minorities (BEAM).
